On February 20th the branch hosted our annual Engineers Week Banquet with WSPE! This year we had over 30+ professionals attended the event. This year, our presenters were Kim Schauder, PE and Steve Theisen from the Wisconsin DOT. They spoke on the topic of the I-39/90 Expansion Project between Beloit and Madison.
On February 6th we hosted a luncheon at the Bonfyre Grill! Our guest for the luncheon was Michael Much, PE, ENV-SP (Chief Engineer and Director at the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District). Michael spoke on the concept of adaptive leadership!
On February 2nd our YMG volunteered at the annual MathCounts event in Madison!
MathCounts is Math based competition series held in all 50 states for students in middle school. Local schools bring teams to compete both as a team and individually, with the hopes to move on to the state competition and then nationals, where they compete for college scholarships.
On December 14th, 2018 the YMG hosted their 8th Annual Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl! Members and significant others had a great time! Hope to see more YMG next year! Below is a picture of several of our younger members at the crawl!
